Quality Control Analyst Medical Device Sector

We are looking for a practical, organised and flexible Quality Control Analyst to join our client’s team.
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting quality across laboratory and production operations. You will need to be a good multitasker, able to move easily between different activities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect incoming packaging components, pre-packed samples and customer orders before dispatch.
• Test raw materials, production samples and finished products.
• Carry out testing relating to customer complaints and support investigations where required.
• Perform start-up, in-process and end-of-line quality checks.
• Operate, clean, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment in line with procedures.
• Accurately record and report test results, escalating any failures or concerns to the Quality Control Manager.
• Maintain laboratory records, retained samples, quarantine areas, chemicals and reagents.
• Check records and calculations in line with GLP/GDP requirements.
• Follow company health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
• Support colleagues and deputise for other QC team members when required.
• Contribute ideas for improvements to safety, procedures, training and testing.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
• Has A-level Science or equivalent, preferably Chemistry.
• Understands GLP, GDP and GMP and good laboratory practice.
• Has good attention to detail and takes pride in accurate work.
• Can confidently manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Has good verbal, written and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Understands the importance of health and safety.
• Is reliable, proactive and works well as part of a team.
