Job description
Technical Administrator

My client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Administrator to provide essential support to thier Financial Advisers and Senior Paraplanner. The role involves managing various client administration tasks, enabling their advisers to focus more on client-facing activities. Responsibilities include attending client meetings, conducting research, preparing client recommendations, and maintaining strong relationships with providers and third parties.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives, including cashflow modelling.
Support Financial Advisers in preparing and presenting client financial plans, completing illustrations, and processing new business applications.
Attend client meetings with Financial Advisers when required.
Prepare simple wealth suitability reports, including obtaining illustrations and application paperwork.
Manage pre and post-action requirements for ongoing advice meetings, updating client information in the back-office system (XPLAN), and keeping both advisers and clients informed.
Liaise with product providers and other third parties as needed.
Own and resolve client queries, process platform actions, and meet client needs such as withdrawal requests.
Prepare and maintain compliant client files.
Support Client Administrators in their daily activities.
Provide regular status updates to clients on transfers, withdrawals, and other matters.
Process business and ensure completion within company and client service level agreements (SLAs).
Answer incoming calls as required.
Take responsibility for personal performance and identify development areas.
Promote the business profile within the profession and wider communities.
Comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements.
Additional Duties:

Undertake additional or other duties as needed to meet business requirements.
Build relationships with key stakeholders and the Client Services team.
Travel for client visits, which may involve working outside office hours.
Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
Experience working in a Wealth Practice
Experience processing new business on
provider platforms

Friendly and professional communication manner
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Desirable:

Experience in constructing accurate reports
Attributes:

Outgoing and confident team player
Strong technical and product knowledge with the ability to develop collaborative relationships and provide excellent customer service
Desire to provide great service to stakeholders and clients
Ability to build relationships and work as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail with experience in compliance and risk management
