Events & Wedding Coordinator
Location: Bore Place, Chiddingstone, Kent
Hours: 26 – 30 hours per week
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per year (pro-rata), subject to experience
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional events in a beautiful, sustainable setting? Bore Place is looking for an enthusiastic Events & Wedding Coordinator to lead the sales, planning, and delivery of weddings and events at our unique 500-acre organic farm estate in West Kent.
About the Role
As our Events & Wedding Coordinator, you’ll be the key point of contact for couples, clients, and suppliers, ensuring that every event at Bore Place runs smoothly and aligns with our values of sustainability and inclusivity. You will:
• Manage enquiries, site visits, bookings, and contracts for weddings and large events.
• Lead the coordination of events from initial enquiry to final execution, ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow wedding and event bookings.
• Work closely with our venue and operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Oversee invoicing, budgeting, and financial planning for weddings and events.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.
• Promote Bore Place as a sustainable and ethical venue, in line with our charitable ethos.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
• Experience in event coordination, ideally including weddings.
• A passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Strong sales and business development skills.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence in liaising with clients and suppliers.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Happy working some weekends, especially during the summer to oversee events but also to do showarounds for prospective clients
• A personal alignment with the sustainability and community values of Bore Place.
• A commitment to our values as an organisation and an interest in minimising the environmental impact of large events
